As a junior member of the interior design team at Metlifecare Pinesong Village, I actively contributed to the creation of a brand-new retirement village center building and apartments. Collaborating closely with the architect, my role involved supporting various aspects of interior design, focusing on creating a comfortable and inviting environment for residents..
 

Within the public areas, including the lounge, restaurant, and entrance/lobby, my responsibilities included assisting with ceiling and lighting designs. I played a role in the planning of soft and hard flooring layouts, and contributed ideas for the design of reception desks, bars, and other fittings to enhance the overall atmosphere.

In the residential spaces, which included apartments, service apartments, and care suites, I assisted in the design of bathroom and kitchen spaces, considering both functionality and aesthetics. My role in the soft and hard fit-out design involved supporting the selection of finishes, fabrics, furniture, and fittings to create pleasant living spaces for the residents.
 

I also contributed to interior drafting and specifications, working diligently to support the team in documenting the design vision accurately. While working on color selections for various areas, I aimed to ensure a cohesive and visually pleasing atmosphere within the project.
