As a key contributor to the library extension project, I played a crucial role in both stages of the development, providing an expansive total of 7000 square meters. This expansion aimed to accommodate the growing student population by introducing additional general study areas, a computer lab, breakout spaces, and extensive bookshelves.

Beyond addressing the functional needs of the library, we focused on creating distinct feature areas to enhance the overall student experience. This included the design and implementation of L1 Study Pods, the L2 Reception area, and the inviting L3 Café, each serving a unique purpose within the library's ecosystem.

Embracing the natural surroundings of the building, which is enveloped by trees, our concept aimed to offer students a respite from their studies. The design intentionally incorporated elements that allowed students to connect with the natural environment, fostering a sense of tranquility. This thoughtful approach was aimed at making the library not just a place of study, but a welcoming and inviting space for students to utilize the facilities.

The color scheme, carefully curated to enhance the ambiance, features a neutral base complemented by vibrant highlights in soft furnishings. Texture was strategically added to walls and various elements, creating visual interest throughout the space. This combination of color and texture not only added aesthetic appeal but also contributed to a dynamic and engaging environment for students to explore and utilize.
